Blood coursed through his body. With the renewal, he became more animated. Unable to help himself, his natural mastery once again asserted itself, lending him to become more aggressive. He ran his tongue along her bottom lip before delving into her mouth to taste her minty sweet essence. With unexpected force, she moved against his hand and forcibly removed her lips from his.

She had ended The Kiss.

The loss of her warmth against his mouth confirmed it. Soft bursts of moistened air caressed his lips. Although she no longer touched him, her mouth was still near.

He needed to feel her caress once more. Frustrated, he tried to draw her lips back to his. He exerted a gentle pressure to the back of her head, an encouragement to kiss him once more. She drew near, but did not touch him. Her quick breathing released tufts of air to tantalize him. Interestingly enough, her nearness lent him strength.

He allowed her resistance for a moment longer before finally applying enough pressure to bring her lips back down to his. She sighed and opened her mouth enough for him to slip in. Once again he explored its honeyed recesses. As the aggressor, he took the liberty to stroke, tease, and nibble the same as she had. He encouraged her participation, running his tongue against the softened upper portion of her lips.

It was a pleasant surprise when she once again took control. She opened her mouth fully to tangle her tongue with his and ran her fingers through his hair. Their grazing caress shot liquid silver through his veins. She held him tight and ravaged his mouth.

He let her.

Her explorations stimulated him. Aching to touch her, he moved his other arm upward from the cold marble to touch her shoulder. There he ran his fingertips to the sensitive nape of her neck. The sensation reminded him how pleasant it was to move. To feel. To have his fingers slide over the warm softness of a woman. She was more than anything he could have dreamed. She was a fantasy of the flesh come true.

He tunneled a hand under the wealth of silken hair and enjoyed the sensation on his skin. The strands fell away to spread into a glossy curtain. He moved with precision and care and caressed the exposed sensitive skin of the back of her neck and relished in her responding shiver.

He released her head and trailed his fingers to her shoulders, then down her back to rest at the curve of her waist. He enjoyed the feel of its slim lines before continuing to the flare of her hip. He rounded her curves to span his hand from her back to stomach. He gently massaged the softness before he reversed his touch and returned his caress to her shoulders.

He repeated the stroke and ran his hand up and down her back. His intent was to both soothe and encourage her. He ached to feel her naked flesh against his. The heavy weight of his armor trapped his body heat and caused rivulets of sweat to form. Frustrated, he cursed. They were both wearing too many clothes. If only she had come to him wearing less. A simple gown which could be removed easily would have pleased him more.

With each kiss, his strength and agility increased. Heartened, he pulled back from her and opened his eyes a slight crack. Before they went any further, he wanted to see her. He cupped her face with both hands and gently exerted upward pressure. This was his way of encouraging her to raise her head and end The Kiss.
